SOMA is the title of Frictional Games' next game, returning to the genre of "Survival Horror" that gave such good results in games like Amnesia or the Penumbra series. A title shrouded in mystery since its announcement, as if SOMA were launching itself out of one more of the secrets of its argument.

And so far, little is known of the argument SOMA: In a futuristic world, in a fantasy setting, know that your character in SOMA wakes in an isolated facility called Pathos-2, as shown in the desktop wallpaper of SOMA available here as a free download.

Pathos-2 is a place where the machinery seems to have become human, taking biological elements of their environment, and even starting to show violent temperaments. But what is SOMA?
